Which cleanse is for me?

All juice cleanses are not created equal. Make sure to do your homework before diving in, and choose a cleanse that is right for you. We take special pride in our cleanses; they're designed for healing purposes with extras like protein, maca, and spirulina in order to meet specific functions. Additionally, all of our juices come in 16 oz glass bottles and are packaged in a convenient thermal soft-cooler. Your health is our passion, and we want you to have the best cleansing experience possible.

 

We offer three types of full cleanses that easily fit your lifestyle. You can try one of each.

The Renewal Cleanse will help balance your PH levels with the greens and added spirulina.

The Easy-Does-It Cleanse has added protein if you work out a lot or if you are concerned you might be hungry.

The Double Rainbow Cleanse is a great all around cleanse and offers a variety of nutritional benefits via phyto-nutrients and is colorfully fun.

Additionally, our Rainbow Cleanse is a partial cleanse, containing four juices rather than six. You may choose to experience a partial cleanse and “try your wings” at cleansing.


Do I need to change my exercise routine?

On a cellular level your body is working diligently during a cleanse, but its okay to break a sweat. Your normal routine should be fine, but do pay attention to your body and what it needs. If you feel like resting then rest and if you feel like getting a workout go for it. Being in tune with how you feel is part of the experience. Take a deep breath . . breathe.


What do I eat when stopping my cleanse?

The day after you have a cleanse is an important set point for your body. You might consider a day of energy soup, broth or gentle, healthy foods such as smoothies, raw foods or a Salud recommended menu item. This is one of our favorite post-cleanse recipes:

Turbo-energy Soup

2 bunches spinach
1 clove chopped garlic
¼ cup cilantro
3-4 chopped green onions
2 potatoes or squash
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 1/2 to 3 cups vegetable broth
Freshly ground black pepper
2 grated carrots
1 grated lemon rind & lemon juice squeezed into soup

Wash and cook spinach, potato and/or squash in 3 cups boiling water. While simmering (½ hour) saute onions & garlic in olive oil. Add saute and all remaining ingredients to pot. Simmer 15 minutes.


Can I cleanse while pregnant?*

No.

Pregnancy is not a time to release toxins. You will feel best if your body spends all of its excess energy on building that amazing new life.


Can I cleanse while ill?*

No.

Health issues may require all of your energy to heal.


What if I get hungry while
I am on my detox?

You might, but it will be helpful to learn if it’s head-hunger and not body hunger.

With six 16 ounce bottles of nutritious, filling juice most people don’t experience hunger.

If you do find yourself hungry:

Drink plenty of fluids to be sure you aren’t dehydrated. During the time you spend detoxifying it is important to “listen” and be aware of your bodies needs.

If you decide that your body is hungry (not head hunger) and are current on your juice and water intake, try eating a healthy fat, like an avocado. This is a you-time. Rest, pamper yourself, enjoy the process and feel the balance.

 


Is there anything I can do to assist my detox?

Absolutely.

Salúd has many support products for your cleanse. There are ancient and modern protocols to assist the detoxification process.  

During your cleanse retreat, consider experiencing and enjoying:

Oil pulling, tongue scraping, Epsom or magnesium salt baths and dry brushing. It is imperative that you drink plenty of water to assist your body in flushing out the toxins. A herbal or detox tea can also be helpful.


Do you offer group cleansing or a group cleansing discount?
